Teen Injured After Suspect Began 'Spraying Bullets' from Car, Deputies Say

Witnesses told investigators an unknown vehicle approached the 16-year-old and another person as they walked through the Roosevelt Gardens apartment complex Sunday morning.

Orangeburg County, SC (WLTX) - Orangeburg County deputies are looking for a vehicle in connection to a weekend shooting that left a 16-year-old injured.

Witnesses told investigators an unknown vehicle approached the 16-year-old and another person as they walked through the Roosevelt Gardens apartment complex Sunday morning. Then, someone inside the car started "spraying bullets" as the two victims dove to the ground, according to a report.

The 16-year-old victim was reportedly transported to a hospital by a friend for a gunshot wound to the leg.

Deputies say the suspected vehicle is a late-model white Audi with paper plates.
