The 8K in 8 days community outreach brough the USC men's basketball team to the Prisma Health Children's Hospital where patients and players bonded with activities that included crafts, hula dancing lessons and tie-dying t-shirts.
The annual event puts the Gamecocks in the community where they promote their program while also making a positive impact in the community.
USC guard T.J. Moss, who played in just seven games last season due to a severe ankle injury, says coming to the hospital puts his struggles in perspective.
The team is balancing summer school and summer workouts with these appearances in the community which will continue for the next couple of weeks.
